Far North Queensland state schools knows parent and caregiver involvement is critical to creating brighter futures for our students and for schools to deliver quality learning outcomes. Therefore we’ve made it a regional priority to connect with parents and caregivers in the following ways:

-          practices which reflect parents and caregivers are central to children’s learning

-          two-way communication strategies to seek and share information

-          inclusive practices acknowledging diverse cultural contexts and identities

-          share expectations for student learning at home and at school.

To find out more about this initiative arrange a time with you child’s principal to discuss how your school is connecting parents and caregivers to student’s learning.
